From the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas, to the meeting point of the three seas, this Indian coffee presents a varied amalgam of sensations and experiences. The "Monsooning" of this 100% Arabica coffee was discovered by accident when a cargo of coffee beans aboard a wooden-hulled ship acquired a mellow, unique tang after being somewhat exposed to the elements during a particular monsoon. This bean is aged over 5 to 6 years, developing distinctive smokey overtones and an aggressive musty flavor. KENYA AA - Kenya AA is grown primarily on the plateaus surrounding Mt. Kenya between 5000-7000 feet, and is renown for its delicious fragrance and indulgently snappy, berry-like finish.
